The PPS Graduate Internship Development Programme (GIDP) offers internship opportunities to South African graduates who want to be part of an exciting tailor-made programme that enhances academic knowledge with unmatched on-the-job experience.
The programme, supported by the Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority (INSETA), recruits South Africa's top young talent and exposes them to skills development during a 12-month long internship where they are placed in the PPS Group's various business units.
Upon joining PPS, graduates are taken through an in-depth orientation wherein they become accustomed to the company structures, systems and processes.
After their placement within the business unit and/or subsidiary, as a means to ensure that the transition from tertiary to the workplace is seamless, the graduates are presented with regular training wherein they gain the necessary soft and technical skills apt for the financial services industry.
The Graduate Internship Development Programme also provides continuous learning and development through partnering with external educational institutions that present the cohort of graduates with the opportunity to study accredited short courses, which contribute to their professional growth.
The graduates would be considered for full time employment with PPS, should a possible position be available after the expiration of the internship contract.
