The PPS Foundation was established in 2016 with the primary purpose of improving access to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) fields, and to make a measurable contribution to the sustainable development of South African communities through PPS’s ethos of mutuality and shared success.
We do this through various programmes and focus areas that:
Empower school-leavers with the necessary financial assistance, skills, competencies and knowledge that will help them access tertiary education and academic qualifications;
Enhance job-readiness and skills to ensure that students qualify as professionals, thereby leading to self-sustaining and economically empowered professionals; as well as,
Offer bridging programmes, tools and mechanisms for beneficiaries transitioning from secondary to tertiary education & from tertiary education to the workplace.
The PPS Foundation believes in moulding young minds and that cultivating an entrepreneurial culture is the answer to many of South Africa’s challenges.
To do this, we identify the potential for success in school leavers and become a part of their journey toward a qualifying four-year degree that is the hallmark of PPS membership, allowing successful graduates the opportunity to become a foundational part of someone else’s journey to success.
